“…On the bank of the Santa Fe River, sitting next to you,
life couldn’t get any better, like a dream come true,”
sang Eldon & The Philman Family Band as they won the Our Santa Fe River Singer/Songwriter Contest October 3 in High Springs.
Songwriters were required to sing their compositions at the contest at the Great Outdoors Restaurant.
The contest was part of the High Springs River Festival, celebrating the community and the natural assets of the area.
Merrillee Malwitz-Jipson, President of OSFR, arranged to have the
videos of the winners and several other finalists on YouTube. They can
be viewed at OurSantaFe.org www.oursantaferiver.org.
