This is from the workers helping to get our right to clean water on the Florida Constitution where polluters must back off. This is something we can all do and EVERYONE wins.

“I signed”
for the Right to Clean Water
Take part in our statewide social media campaign to encourage folks to sign the petition online!
Between now and May 27th, please change your profile pic to one (or more) of these “I signed” messages, being sure to have your favorite up on May 27th for Rachel Carson’s birthday and the day we’re hosting a Florida’s Right to Clean Water Q&A!
They won’t fit perfectly into profile pic circles, but hopefully they’ll conjure enough interest for people to click on it to see what it says. Encourage your friends and family to learn more and, importantly, to sign those petitions!!!
If you have a different (positive) message in mind and/or a particular picture you’d prefer, please email admin@floridarighttocleanwater.org for a special order. 🙂
(Or, you know, make your own!)
Ask Me Anything event: Friday, May 27th, 1pm
Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/s/84967873113
Facebook Livestream: https://www.facebook.com/floridarighttocleanwater.org
Our team is hosting a Q&A session to introduce ourselves, the campaign and the amendment, and answer any questions or concerns about the Right to Clean and Healthy Waters citizen initiative.
Please help spread the word that if they’re not able to attend on the Zoom link or Facebook livestream, they’re welcome and encouraged to contact admin@floridarighttocleanwater to inquire about any aspect of the proposed constitutional amendment!
And as always, we are standing by to provide speakers or presentations to any group upon request! Just contact, yep, you guessed it, admin@floridarighttocleanwater.org at your convenience.
Campaign Updates & Requests:
The campaign is rolling out through regional connections and operations!
We plan to turn petitions into county supervisors of elections on a quarterly basis, so the first official verification numbers will begin after July 1st.
If you’d like to support in ANY way:
- Register here to become a Right to Clean Water (RTCW) Ambassador and get connected with campaign operations in your region!
- Register here to become a RTCW Business (we’ll post your business and address if you’re able to be a “petition location”);
- Contact us if your organization would like to support at any level, as a partner able to commit to a certain # of petitions, to make an official endorsement, to help with outreach on social media / newsletters, etc.
Thank you for understanding how critical this cause is to Florida’s waters and for stepping up to do whatever you can to support this #WatershedMoment.
We can do this, together.
