Too much pumping from our groundwater is likely the major problem with our water in Florida as well as in other parts of the country.  Florida’s water districts believe that they are obligated to issue all pumping permits applied for and strive hard to do this.

This policy has resulted in untold damage to our springs, rivers and aquifer although district water scientists live in a land of denial.
