Looking For a Few Volunteers to Help the Santa Fe River

Here is your chance to help the Santa Fe River and our springs and aquifer!

OSFR is looking for a few volunteers to help with the following:

WE NEED YOUR HELP tabling at the following events:

1. Pioneer Days in downtown High Springs, FL Saturday and Sunday April 23rd and April 24th 9:30am-5pm. Booth location TBA

2. May Day/Earth Day Open House for Florida Coalition for Peace and Justice (FCPJ) at 10665 Southwest 89th Ave, Hampton, FL 32044, Sunday May 1st from 11am-7pm For more info about FCPJ: https://florida4peace.org/

The focus of our conversation will be to educate the public about the environmental impacts of:

1. plastic single use bottled water,

2. the proposed phosphate mine development in Union and Bradford County and

3. The Right to Clean Water Act Amendment Petition and gathering signatures for the amendment to be placed on 2024 ballot.
