Over the years SouthWings has contributed a great deal to protecting the environment. OSFR has had a close relationship with them. Your writer participated in two flights over Mosaic mining areas, two over Sabal Trail, one over the proposed HPS II mine, and one over the Twin Pine Minerals threat to Okeechobee and southern drainages.
We are pleased to have been able to help support this worthy group who continues to do great work.

Dear friends,
One of the most important aspects of organizational resilience is knowing who you are and what you stand for. Over the past year, we have worked to put SouthWings’ long standing values into words, ensuring that they continue to serve as our guiding light into the future.
I’m pleased to share the results of this process with you – SouthWings’ first Statement of Values:
As aviators and avid passengers, we see truths with our own eyes that others cannot. It is our duty and our honor to share this with the world, so that we can be part of the solution and hope to make our region a better place for future generations. From the awesome beauty of our region’s wild and scenic rivers snaking through forests and wetlands, to the horrors that pollution has wrought upon the Earth. All these things we see, and, in turn, we enable our partners to see, offering them this unique tool to further their critically important work for the Southeast.
