This Saturday, in lieu of our monthly paddle, we are going for a slow walk. Partly to hear the voice of the river, and partly to learn woodland lore from retired Park Ranger and naturalist Doug Pearsall. Doug has walked with us on a couple of other occasions, always enlightening us with his understanding of the tree and plant communities.
Cold days are perfect for rambling through the woods and this coming Saturday promises to be quiet chilly so bundle up and join us as we slow walk through O’Leno State Park.
