Join us tonight, Wednesday May 21st at 6 pm as we explore how we can regenerate healthy soils that retain water, nutrients, and capture carbon. The meeting will be in-person with a live-streaming option on our Facebook page. We will also be voting in a new slate of Directors and Officers after the presentation.
A recent study by UF’s Center for Landscape Conservation Planning suggests that Florida looses about 120 acres of agricultural land a day — or almost 45,000 acres a year which would forever change the landscapes that we have grown to love, and our food security. If we can find a way to save our farms, and our water resources, we would all win a better future for Florida.
We want to see our farms succeed by encouraging change that can alleviate many of the pressures facing our farmers. Please join us as we explore one such path.
